Bryant, Multiple Myeloma Patient, Tells His Story

August 1, 2022

In Bryant's Words...

“I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in Little Rock, AR in November 2017. I began treatment there in January 2018. Due to insurance limitations, I was forced to move to The University of Iowa Holden Cancer Center in July 2018 for an autologous stem cell transplant.”

“Recently, I had some worrisome labs. I needed a follow-up exam after the autologous stem cell transplant.”

“Thanks to Mercy Medical Angels and The American Cancer Society, I was able to fly to the hospital in Iowa from my home in North Carolina. The process was seamless. Delta Airlines assisted me too, which greatly made my trip more comfortable.”

“Mercy Medical Angels is an incredible organization with unlimited understanding and compassion. Everyone there is amazing and very helpful.”
