Letters from Grateful Veterans: Randy
A Letter of Gratitude

Dear Mercy Medical Angels,
I wanted to thank you for making it possible for me to go on an American Warrior Association (AWA) retreat. This retreat was something I didn’t realize my soul had been longing for. There’s something powerful about a group of men coming together to face challenges — it builds a unique bond. But when you bring the Lord into that space, along with the incredible curriculum AWA has created, it becomes an experience unlike anything else.
To my fellow Veterans and first responders: If you’re considering this program or even just on the fence, my advice is simple: Go. Go all in. Embrace it fully. I’ve been home for just four days, and every single day, someone has asked me, ‘What’s different about you?’ That’s the impact this retreat had on me.
The majority of Veterans and first responders I know - that includes myself - sadly don’t make the biggest paychecks. So for Mercy Medical Angels to assist with the plane tickets is pivotal. They’re providing a life-changing opportunity most of us would likely never have without them. Thank you again for all you do.
Gratefully yours,
Randy
