“I was diagnosed with Stage IV thyroid cancer. The best doctors who can help me are at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. But I live in Yucca Valley, California, which is 1,269 miles away from Houston. There was no way I could afford a round-trip flight to cancer treatment.”
“Mercy Medical Angels and Southwest Airlines made it possible for me to fly to MD Anderson. The stress was eased with their financial help. They have shown me compassion and kindness. Also, they lifted the financial burden. Not only did they save my life. They also improved my quality of life.”
