Stories from Grateful Patients: Cindy

Woman who was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma after receiving life-saving cancer treatment

In Her Own Words...

"I was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma in 2021. Since 2022, I've been going through chemo every three weeks. The chemo has caused me health issues and I need further testing. Doctors think that I'll need surgery as well, to put the cancer in remission."

"The best place to go for treatment is in St. Louis, Missouri. I live about three hours away from the hospital. My boyfriend drives me there and back. But gas prices are going up, and it's getting harder to pay for these long trips to and from cancer treatment."

"Mercy Medical Angels sent me a gas card. It helps tremendously. I don't know how I'd pay for travel otherwise. I'm happy and grateful that Mercy Medical Angels can help patients like me. They're literally saving my life - so thank you!"
