"I have multiple rare diseases and recently was diagnosed with cancer. Because of this, I'm in and out of different medical appointments almost every day. The best doctors to treat my problems are at the UVA Hospital by Charlottesville. That's about 100 miles from my hometown, and I can't afford the cost of gas on top of everything else."
"I applied for help with Mercy Medical Angels and was approved. They sent me gas cards. The gas cards have been immensely helpful with the expenses of all the driving I have to do."
