In Her Own Words...
"I have Peripheral Artery Disease and May-Thurner Syndrome. Because of this, I have two stents - one in the left iliac vein and one in the left iliac artery. I live where there is only one group of vascular specialists. Due to an issue with the local doctor I was seeing, I chose to find one in the closest city to me."
"The closest city is one and a half hours to two hours away by car. However, I am on a fixed income. All that driving puts a strain on my budget."
"I requested a gas card from Mercy Medical Angels to help get to my doctor appointments. I was very thankful I was able to get assistance. To everyone at Mercy Medical Angels - I am grateful for your organization and the work you do."
