Stories from Grateful Patients: Angelina

Bladder cancer patient outside the hospital where she received treatment, thanks to gas cards

In Her Own Words...

"My name is Angelina, and I live in a rural area of California. Recently, I was diagnosed with Stage Four bladder cancer. Doctors in my hometown couldn't treat it effectively and referred me to a hospital in Beaumont, California."

"Gas prices are high here, $4.75 per gallon or more. I didn't know how I would be able to afford to go to monthly chemo treatments, let alone checkups and scans."

"Mercy Medical Angels sent me gas cards. Thanks to them, I'm able to make it to my doctor's appointments. Thank you, Mercy Medical Angels, for supporting me in my fight against bladder cancer!"
