Stories from Grateful Patients: David

In His Own Words...

"Hello, my name is David. I inherited polycystic kidney disease from my mother and I have been traveling to the clinic for more than 9 years. I want to live as long as I can, to be there for my sons and be a part of the growing up of my grandchildren. I live on a minimal income and the cost of gas and miles of travel are a hardship."

"Mercy Medical Angels lessened some of that hardship by sending me gas cards. That travel assistance actively improved my quality of life, helped me maintain physical and mental wellness, and allowed me to have greater financial stability. Thanks to Mercy Medical Angels, I get more years with my family."

~David
