"When Emma was 11, she sprained her ankle, which led to CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome). She was also diagnosed with a lot of other conditions as time went on. Emma needs a wheelchair to get anywhere, otherwise she's bed-bound due to the extreme pain and risk of injury. We live in New Hampshire and we've traveled to many different states hoping to find treatment that will improve Emma's life."

"Dr. Hanna in Florida was the only doctor who was able to help Emma. He prescribed a high dosage of ketamine infusions. These infusions give Emma enough energy to live her life and also reduce her pain. However, they have to be administered every eight weeks.
