Stories from Grateful Patients: Megan

In Her Own Words...

"Hi, my name is Megan. I have Stage IV cancer. To have the best chance at a better quality of life and a longer life, I needed to seek treatment at MD Anderson in Houston."

"The only problem is getting there. It would be a long, tiring, and expensive drive. Flying would be more efficient, but I can't afford a round-trip plane ticket. It was creating a financial burden that I couldn't carry on my own."

"Mercy Medical Angels and the Hogan Family Foundation helped me by arranging and helping pay for my flights. They were able to help me get the care I need. I don't know what I would have done without them!"
